SC143 - CRIANLARICH TO OBAN

TAYNUILT (TPWS)

The existing stop boards situated at :-

the Connel Ferry end of the Down loop (on right of drivers),
the Dalmally end of the Up loop (on right of drivers),
the exit from the siding (on left of drivers),

have been fitted with a TPWS indicator directly below each stop board.

A new stop board has been provided on left of drivers, facing to Up direction trains, at the Dalmally end of the Down loop. A TPWS indicator has been provided directly below the new stop board.

A new stop board has been provided, on left of drivers, facing to Down direction trains, at the Connel Ferry end of the Up loop. A TPWS indicator has been provided directly below the new stop board.

The TPWS indicator contains a single blue coloured aspect which :-

  • displays a steady blue aspect when TPWS is energised and active,
  • displays a flashing blue aspect when TPWS is in working order and suppressed,
  • when unlit, indicates a TPWS failure or indicator failure.
