Signalling Notices

Sunday, 7th July - Connel Ferry (West). - The following altered signalling arrangements will be brought into operation:-
(1) The signal applying from the Up Main to the Goods Loop will be replaced by a two-armed signal, carried on the gantry east of the box.
The top arm will apply from the Up Main to the Goods Loop; the bottom arm will apply from the Up Main to the new sidings.
(2) A three-armed ground signal has been provided at the trailing points leading from the Down to the Up Main Line, immediately east of the box, on right of drivers.
The top arm will apply from the Down Line to the Branch Platform; the centre arm will apply from the Down to the Up Main Line; the bottom arm will apply from the Down Line to the new siding.
(3) A new ground dwarf signal has been provided to apply from the Goods Loop to the new siding. It is situated at the fouling point of the connection leading from the Goods Loop to the Down Main Line, on right of drivers.
(4) The two existing signals from the Goods Loop have been replaced by a three-armed signal, on left of drivers opposite the fouling point of the new siding.
The top arm will apply from the Goods Loop to the Head Shunt; the centre arm will apply from the Goods Loop to the Down Main; the bottom arm will apply from the Goods Loop to the Ballachulish Branch.
(5) A three-armed signal has been provided at the trap points leading from the new siding, on left of drivers.
The top arm will apply from the new sidings to the Loop Shunt; the centre arm will apply from the new sidings to the Down Line; the bottom arm will apply from the new sidings to the Ballachulish Branch.
The other signals at Connel Ferry (West) remain unaltered.
