ALTERATION OF AND ADDITIONAL SIGNALS AT CALLANDER & OBAN JUNCTION AND CALLANDER (EAST) & CALLANDER (WEST) SIGNAL BOXES

CALLANDER & OBAN JUNCTION.

New signal box opened when line doubled to Callander East, Block Telegraph (Double Line) replacing Train Tablet. Signal Box situated between Down Line and Goods Sidings, about 134 yards west of signal box replaced.

Up Home Signal with bracket disc (Up Line to Goods Sidings), 134 yards west of superseded signal.

Down Home Signal with bracket disc (Down Line to Goods Sidings), at side of Down Line, about 180 yards east of the signal box.

Up Advance Home Signal, at side of Up Line, about 73 yards east of the signal box.

Up Distant Signal, below Callander East Up Starting Signal, 663 yards west of the signal box and 353 yards east of Callander East box.

Down Distant Signal, at side of line, about 945 yards east of the signal box.

Down Starting Signal, with Callander East Down Distant Signal below, at side of Down Line, 231 yards west of the signal box and 786 yards east of Callander East box.

Ground Discs.- Goods Loop to Down Line, between Goods Loop and East Shunting Siding, about 62 yards west of the signal box.

Two signals 55 yards east of the signal box:

Nearer rails - Goods Loop to Up Line.

Farther from rails - Goods Loop to Shunting Siding.

CALLANDER (EAST).

Signalling alterations when line doubled from Callander & Oban Junction and Train Tablet replaced by Double Line Block Telegraph.

Up Home Signal, at east end of Up Platform, about 52 yards west of the signal box.

Main Line Down Home Signal, with Callander West Down Distant Signal beneath and two bracket signals, at side of Down Line, 151 yards east of Callander East box and 561 yards east of Callander West box:

Right hand bracket - Down Line to North Dock.

Left hand bracket - Down Line to South Dock.

Home Signal from North Dock, outside Sidings, about 82 yards west of the signal box.

Home Signal from South Dock, on Main Post with overhung bracket signal (from Down Main Platform), outside Dock Line, about 26 yards west of the signal box.

Advance Up Home Signal for Main Line, at side of Up Line, about 125 yards east of the signal box.

Advance Signal to North Dock, on left hand bracket, 25 yards west of the signal box.

Advance Signal to Nos. 1 and 2 Sidings, on right hand bracket, 25 yards west of the signal box.

Up Distant Signal, below Up Advance Home Signal for Callander West box, between Up Line and Sidings, about 324 yards west of the signal box.

Down Distant Signal, below Callander & Oban Junction Down Starting Signal, about 786 yards east of the signal box.

Up Starting Signal, with Callander & Oban Junction Up Distant Signal below, at side of Up Line, about 353 yards east of the signal box.

Siding Ground Discs.- Two outside No. 2 Siding, 102 yards west of the signal box.

From No. 1 Siding - Nearest rails.

From No. 2 Siding - Farthest from rails.

CALLANDER (WEST).

Down Distant Signal placed below Callander East Down Home, on post with two bracket signals.

To come into operation on Sunday, the 2nd day of November, 1902.
