GLASGOW, 28th April, 1891.

ALTERATION OF AND ADDITIONAL SIGNALS AT CALLANDER PASSENGER STATION.

In order to improve the Signalling, the following alterations have been made:-

EAST BOX.

Distant Signal.- The Post carrying the Up Signal and the Up Home Signal for West Box has been shifted about 92 yards West from the position described in Signal Notice, dated 1st August, 1882, and now stands at the West end of the Ticket Platform, about 549 yards West from the Box. This Signal is at present in operation.

Ground Disc Signal.- A new Ground Disc Signal from the Main Down Line has been placed between the Main Down Line and the Dock Siding, about 41 yards West from the Box.

The other Signals remain unaltered.

WEST BOX.

Home And Advanced Home Signals.- The Post carrying the Up Signal and the Up Distant for the East Box has been shifted about 92 yards West from the position described in Signal Notice, dated 1st August, 1882, and now stands at the West end of the Ticket Platform, about 139 yards West from the Box. The Signal on the Post which stands outside the above described Post is the Up Signal to the Sidings. These Signals are at present in operation.

A new Advanced Up Signal has been placed between the Main Up Line and No. 1 Up Siding, about 102 yards East from the Box.

The Advanced Down Signal has been shifted about 90 yards West from the position described in Signal Notice, dated 1st August, 1882, and now stands outside the Main Down Line, about 68 yards West from the Box. This Signal is at present in operation.

Ground Disc Signal.- The present Semaphore Signal from No. 1 Up Line Siding to the Main Down Line by Crossover Road will be superseded by a new Ground Disc Signal which has been placed between the Crossover Road and No. 1 Up Line Siding, about 165 yards East from the Box.

The other Signals remain unaltered.

To come into operation on Thursday, the 30th day of April, 1891.
