GLASGOW, 26th August, 1895.

ALTERATION OF AND ADDITIONAL SIGNALS AT EAST BOX, CALLANDER.

In consequence of the alterations at Callander Station, the following alterations have been made on the Signalling at the East End of the Station:-

Home And Advanced Home Signals.- A new Up Signal from the Up Dock Line has been placed on the Up Platform, about 82 yards West from the Box.

A new Advanced Main Up Signal has been erected by the side of the Up Line, about 19 yards East from the Box.

The new Advanced Down Signal to the Up Dock Line is the left hand Bracket Signal on the Double-bracketed Signal Post which stands outside the Dock Line, about 24 yards West from the Box.

The new Advanced Down Signal to the Up Loop Lines is the right hand Bracket Signal on the last described Post.

Ground Disc Signals.- The new Ground Disc Signal from No. 1 Up Loop Line, which will supersede the existing Semaphore Signal, is the nearer to the Loops of the two Ground Disc Signals which stand outside No. 2 Up Loop Line, about 117 yards West from the Box.

The farther from the Loops of the above-described Signals is the new Ground Disc Signal from No. 2 Up Loop Line, which will also supersede the existing Semaphore Signal.

The new Ground Disc Signal to the new Dead-End stands outside the Up Line, about 19 yards East from the Box.

The new Ground Disc Signal from the new Dead-End stands outside the Dead-End about 83 yards East from the Box.

The other Signals remain unaltered.

To come into operation on Tuesday, the 27th day of August, 1895.
