ALTERATION OF AND ADDITIONAL SIGNALS AT EAST AND WEST BOXES, CALLANDER.

In consequence of the alterations at Callander Station, the following alterations have been made on the Signals.

EAST BOX.

Distant Signal.- The new Up Signal is the lower of the two Up Signals on the Post which carries the West Box Advanced Up Home Signal, and stands between the Up Line and the Up Sidings, about 323 yards West from the Box, and about 226 yards East from the existing Signal, which it will supersede.

The other Signals remain unaltered.

WEST BOX.

Home And Advanced Home Signals.-The new Down Signal from the new Down Passenger Dock Line stands outside the new Down Line Siding, about 139 yards East from the Box.

The Advanced Up Signal has been shifted about 15 yards further West, and is now the higher of the two Up Signals on the Post already described, which carries the new Up Distant Signal from the East Box, and stands between the Up Line and the Up Line Sidings, about 87 yards East from the Box. This Signal is at present in operation.

The new Advanced Up Signal to the Up Line Sidings stands outside the Siding, about 55 yards East from the Box.

Ground Disc Signals.- A new Ground Disc Signal from No.1 Up Line Siding to the Up Line has been placed between the Up Line and No.1 Up Line Siding, about 132 yards East from the Box, and about 2 yards East from the existing Semaphore Signal, which it will supersede.

A new Ground Disc Signal from No.2 Up Line Siding to the Up Line has been placed outside the Sidings, about 132 yards East from the Box, and about 2 yards East from the existing Semaphore Signal, which it will supersede.

A new Ground Disc Signal from the Down Line to No.1 Up Line Siding has been placed between the Down Line and the Down Passenger Dock Line, about 87 yards East from the Box.

A new Ground Disc Signal from the Down Line Siding to the Down Line has been placed outside the already described new Down Home Signal from the Down Passenger Dock Line, about 139 yards East from the Box, and about 67 yards East from the existing Semaphore Signal, which it will supersede.

The other Signals remain unaltered.

To come into operation on Tuesday, the 12th day of November, 1895.
