Trains crossing at Stations situated on Inclines


These instructions appeared in the Appendix to the Working Time Table, dated 1st May, 1915.

TRAINS CROSSING AT STATIONS SITUATED ON INCLINES AND APPROACHING THE STATIONS AT OR ABOUT THE SAME TIME.-When Trains require to cross at Stations situated on Inclines-such as Connel Ferry, Taynuilt, Dalmally, Tyndrum, Luib, Killin Junction, and Balquhidder-and are approaching the Station at or about the same time, the Signals which apply to the Train on the falling gradient must be kept at "Danger" until the Train on the rising gradient has been drawn into and stopped clear of the Crossing at both ends of the Station Loop.
The above-named Stations on falling gradients must be approached with the same caution as Terminal Stations.
