Killin Station

These instructions appeared in the Appendix to the Working Time Table, dated 1st May, 1915.

KILLIN STATION-Rounding of Branch Train.-When it is necessary to back Carriages or other Vehicles from Killin towards Killin Junction for the purpose of running them down past the Engine by gravitation, the Engine must not be detached until the Vehicles have been brought to a stand and the Driver has satisfied himself that the Guard or Shunter has applied the Hand Brakes, after which the Engine may be detached and shunted into the Siding, when the Vehicles may be allowed to run down past the Siding Points under control of the Hand Brake.
