Maximum Load of Passenger Trains

These instructions appeared in the Appendix to the Working Time Table, dated 1st May, 1915.

MAXIMUM LOAD OF PASSENGER TRAINS AND NUMBER OF GUARDS REQUIRED FOR EACH.-No Passenger Train (Ordinary or Special) on this Section must exceed fourteen Six-wheeled or ten Bogie Passenger Carriages, and two Guards must be provided on Trains which consist of more than ten Six-wheeled or eight Bogie Vehicles.
Twelve-wheeled Carriages, except regular West Coast Sleeping Saloons, must not be used to work on Trains to the Callander and Oban Line. Stock longer than 50 feet is unsuitable for this Line.
