Home Signals at Stations, &c


These instructions appeared in the Appendix to the Working Time Tables, dated 1st August, 1888.

HOME SIGNALS AT STATIONS, &c.-At Strathyre, Lochearnhead, Luib, and Crianlarich the Home Signals are placed on the Up Platforms, and at Glenoglehead Crossing on the Down Platform, in each case near the centre of the Station or Main Line Loops; and when at Danger, Engine Drivers must stop their Trains or Engines short of the Station or Main Line Loop facing points to which they apply, and over which Trains or Engines must not pass until the Signal has been lowered.
There are no Starting Signals at any of the Stations on Callander and Oban Line.
