These instructions appeared in the Sectional Appendix to the Working Timetable and Books of Rules and Regulations, Section 2 - West, dated 1st October, 1960.


Goods Yard.-Trainmen must receive permission by telephone from the signalman before proceeding from the goods yard towards Callander East signal box. When propelling movements take place between Callander East signal box and the goods yard a brake van in which the guard must ride must be the leading vehicle in either direction. Not more than six freight vehicles may, however, be propelled without a brake van being leading from Callander East signal box to Callander goods yard.

Up shunt spur-Callander East.-Vehicles must not be shunted into the Up shunt spur to stand.
